After many years at the Children’s Habilitation Center (Østfold County), collaborating with the NICU, Ena Bolognese Heimdahl, MA, now works as a senior adviser at the Statped Department of Complex Learning Difficulties- Division Early Childhood Education and Care and board member of Eurlyaid.
Statped is the Norwegian National Agency within the Department of Education. Her main field of interest is children with severe multiple learning disabilities, particularly those at the pre-symbolic level of communication. She has focused on using mealtime as an arena for joy and interaction. Additionally, she is a certified Marte Meo therapist and infant massage instructor. She is the author of several articles and speaks widely at various national and international conferences.
